Accommodation rates for children
Children 0 – 3 years old stay free in your room. The University does not have cribs or “pack and play” units for use. You must bring your child’s sleeping gear.
Children 4 – 11 years old stay at half the quoted room price. If you and your child share a double room, the cost will be the full double rate for you and half the double rate for your child.
Alternatively, your child 4 -11 years old can stay for free in your room if you bring your own sleeping/air mattress and sleeping bag. That is, an adult with a child on the floor in a single room pays only the rate for the single room; or two adults with a child on the floor in a double room pay only 2 x the per person rate for a double room.
Please be aware:
Although it’s physically possible to fit an air mattress into the floor space of a single or double room, appreciate that the space will be cramped. Neither single nor double rooms are intended to have a sleeper on the floor, and the rooms – particularly the single room – will feel crowded.
If you book one room intending your child to share the space on an air mattress and find the accommodations too cramped for comfort, there may not be an additional room available to book when you arrive.
If you choose the air mattress option, you must provide your own air mattress and bedding. If the University provides bedding you will be charged the child’s rate for their accommodations.
Meals
Children aged 3 and under eat for free, and the price of meals for children aged 4 to 11 is half the quoted price.
